Summary

Company Profile/ Job Purpose Summary

As a Water Engineer you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and monitoring of water

treatments for our customers. This role ensure that water is safe and meets regulatory standards.

The position will support the key functions of the business by providing services as and when required.

Carry out tasks allocated to you in accordance with all method statements and the fundamental rules of

Marlowe Environmental Services.



Key Objectives & Responsibilities

• Complete allocated jobs within the agreed timescales.

• Complete all necessary documentation accurately and submit on the electronic system in live time.

• Must not exceed one audit failure per year.





Person Specification

· To normally act as the lead engineer or ‘responsible person' when working in a team of two or

more technicians ESTs.

· To ensure all work is completed in compliance with current legislation and documented at all

times.

· Tasks to be carried out in accordance WCS Group procedures/method statements.

· Maintain and promote Health and Safety standards within your team, to sub- contractors, and to

clients to company standards and procedures.

· Plan to ensure work as scheduled is completed on time, and to maximum efficiency.

· Liaise with client representatives as required.

· Report any pertinent issues to your field manager or client representative as appropriate.

· At all times adhere to the clients specific Health and Safety/Safe Working practices.

· Ensure all equipment used is safe and fit for purpose

To have a specialist skill set, knowledge or accreditation for 1 or more of the following:

· Engineered water plant and equipment servicing, refurbishment and/or instillation of

replacement

· Commercial Plumbing - Level 2 or above in NVQ City & Guilds to carry out varied commercial

plumbing tasks associated to water hygiene/treatment in accordance with water regulations.

· Pre-Commission cleaning of closed water systems in accordance with BSRIA BG29 & BG50

· Cold water cold storage tank building - sectional fibreglass tanking systems



We are hygiene water treatment firm, so at any time you may be required to undertake other tasks within

the Water Hygiene operations roles, however training will be provided.
