Summary

The Best Connection are recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives to join our client based in Biggleswade. We are seeking skilled individuals who can work within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This role offers the opportunity to join a well-established logistics operation, supporting the smooth and timely movement of goods throughout the warehouse.

Pay Rates

Warehouse Operatives

  • Days: £13.59 per hour

  • Nights: £14.80 per hour

VNA / Counterbalance / PPT Drivers

  • Days: £14.29 per hour

  • Nights: £15.35 per hour

Shifts Available:
  • 4 On / 4 Off - Days: 06:00-18:00
  • 4 On / 4 Off - Nights: 18:00-06:00
  • Any 5 of 7 - Days: 8-hour shifts (7.5 paid / 30-minute break)
  • Any 5 of 7 - Nights: 8-hour shifts (7.5 paid / 30-minute break)
Responsibilities:
  • Receiving, storing, and dispatching goods accurately and efficiently
  • Operating VNA, Counterbalance, PPT and Aisle Master equipment safely
  • Using warehouse management systems to maintain accurate stock records
  • Supporting stock rotation and consolidation
  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards using a "clean as you go" approach
  • Liaising directly with customers to support service expectations
  • Conducting equipment checks where required
  • Assisting with shipping and receiving processes
  • Safely lifting and moving heavy items
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and inventory records
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety guidelines
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Experience operating VNA, Counterbalance, PPT or Aisle Master equipment
  • In-date, accredited FLT licence
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently, independently, and safely
