Summary
About The Role
We are looking for a friendly, outgoing individual to join our team at Caerlaverock Wetland Reserve.
The successful applicant will provide a warm and informative welcome to all our visitors and managing the admissions till while providing orientation information to visitors. You will have a passion for good customer service, enjoy helping visitors to get the best from their visit to the reserve and love working in a very special nature reserve surrounded by wildlife.
This is a casual position where hours are offered on an ad-hoc basis. The role involves working in our visitor centre where you will be welcoming and advising visitors. You may also be required to take on other tasks across visitor services, depending on the needs of the organisation.
Ability to work some weekends is essential as is flexibility of other working days.
About You
The successful candidate will have the ability to:
engage with visitors
work as part of a team
problem solve as needed
respond to customer feedback appropriately
comply with relevant safety and legislative requirements.
Some experience of working in a trading or commercial environment and the use of a computerised till system (EPOS) is preferable, as is previous cash handling experience.
