About the role
Source Supply are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a large, welcoming primary school located just outside Sheffield city centre.
We’re looking for a Teaching Assistant who brings a calm, nurturing, and supportive approach to their work and a genuine passion for helping young children thrive.
Experience of supporting pupils with additional needs (SEN) would be an advantage, though not essential – the right attitude, empathy, and commitment to making a difference are what matter most.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will:
• Have experience working with children in a primary school setting (particularly KS1)
• Be patient, adaptable, and positive in their approach
• Support learning both in and out of the classroom
• Work effectively as part of a caring, collaborative team

Requirements
- Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
- A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.

- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
