Summary
The work of the Women’s Estate Psychology Service (WEPS) spans core forensic work such as risk assessment and individual psychological interventions as well as a broad range of safety-related work within women’s prisons, and as women transition back into the community. The post holder will have a key role as a central point of contact for WEPS at the site, providing support to local Senior Management Team therefore developing and maintaining relationships with senior managers and leaders across HMPSS is an essential core competency. They will join a team of highly skilled and motivated staff and have the opportunity to engage in a range of activities to support the delivery of forensic work at HMP Low Newton. Given that WEPS are a geographically dispersed team, it is essential that the post holder liaises with other ELPs, and WEPS senior managers and leaders to ensure that the WEPs business needs and key prioritises are attained and that they represent and uphold the values of WEPS and PSG.
