About the Role
Sid’s Deli is a new, modern takeaway serving sandwiches, pastries, hot food, and coffee. We are looking for motivated, friendly staff to support daily operations. Full training provided.
Duties
Prepare sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes, and hot snacks
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
Assist with daily food prep and stock rotation
Serve customers and take orders
Operate the till and handle payments
Keep the deli clean and presentable
Restock fridges, shelves, packaging, and condiments
Support the team during busy periods
Assist with opening or closing duties
Requirements
Essential:
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Reliable and punctual
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills
Able to follow instructions and work safely
Desirable but not necessary:
Experience in food service or hospitality
Food hygiene certificate (or willing to obtain)
Barista experience or interest in learning
