Summary
Personal Assistant for R
I am an 11-year-old happy girl looking for a personal assistant. In your role, you will be supporting me during a daily routine, including helping me with personal care and assisting me with eating. We could also be going for a walk with my wheelchair, so it may be helpful if you’ve had training on how to push a wheelchair. I might also occasionally need help getting to my hospital appointments and to attend activities.
If you like music, you could enjoy singing and dancing with me. Being active is very important to me, as it helps with my physiotherapy.
I’m looking for someone who is patient as it takes me a while to express my needs and what I like. I also need someone who is willing to learn more about me and is looking to stay in this role long-term as I need time to build trust in others.
I would prefer to find someone who has experience in care or a similar field, however training will be provided either way. This role is for 20 hours per week at an hourly rate of £14.50. The hours are worked over 4 days of the week and the working days are negotiable. I live in the Northeast area of Glasgow so it might be good if you are local to the area or are able to travel.
If interested, you can apply online quoting ref RZ/LD/2.25 or call GCIL (0141 550 4455) if you have any questions.
