Summary
SHOWHOME INSTALLER
Responsible for installing & preparing showhome properties to a high professional standard. This role includes the following:
Loading transport and unloading furniture & accessories to & from site.
Assembling furniture & installing in correct room as per relevant plans/schedules.
Install Artwork & Mirrors in the correct rooms as per the designer/Stylist instructions.
Fixing Headboards & large furniture items to the wall.
Carry out minor repairs or adjustments on site.
Maintain a clean, organised working environment during installation.
Liaise professionally with Designers, Clients, Site Managers & Suppliers.
Complete Inventory checks before & during installation.
Support de-installs, furniture removal & re-packing when required.
Skills & Experience:
Experience in Interior installation & furniture assembly.
Confident with hand & power tools.
Strong attention to detail & presentation.
Ability to work to deadlines & under pressure.
Full UK driving licence necessary & must be able to drive a large van (Luton size)
Physically fit and able to lift heavy items of furniture & boxes.
Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel.
Must be able to stay overnight when necessary on long distance installations.
WAREHOUSE ORGANISER
Responsible for ensuring a smooth operation, organisation & cleanliness of the Warehouse.
This role supports inventory management, goods in/out, packing for projects & maintaining safe & efficient storage systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Receive deliveries, check each item against purchase orders/schedules & report any discrepancies including missing or damaged items.
Organise stock, furniture & decor in clearly labelled, accessible bays.
Once added to the bay, highlight the item as delivered on the Picking list/schedule.
Keep warehouse clean & tidy and compliant with health & safety standards.
Maintain accurate inventory records/schedules and update stock management systems with any late or missing items.
Assist with furniture assembly, repairs or pre-installation preparation.
Painting of furniture or wood panelling.
Coordinate returns, recycling waste & broken/damaged items.
Support Installation teams by loading/unloading vehicles efficiently.
Monitor & order packaging supplies, tools & warehouse materials.
Completing regular stock takes & logging all items of stock on a spreadsheet & keeping up to date.
OTHER
Delivering/Picking up items from our makers & suppliers
Delivering Wallpapers, Joinery, Lights to site before the installation.
Delivering go back items to site after the main installation.
Skills & experience:
Warehouse, stock control, logistics or operations experience.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to details.
Ability to safely lift, move & store furniture & heavy items.
Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
Good communication & teamwork skills.
Basic computer literacy (inventory systems, e-mails, spreadsheets)
