Working Hours:09:00 – 14:00 (5 hours per day)
Days of week:Monday to Friday
Pay Rate:£12.21 per hour
Work Address:The Wherry School NR1 2GB
Role Purpose:
To support the school catering team in preparing and serving meals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and pleasant dining experience for pupils and staff.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting in food preparation and serving meals to pupils and staff
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
Washing up and cleaning equipment and utensils
Following food safety and health & safety procedures
Supporting the catering team in daily operational tasks
Adhering to school safeguarding policies
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS required
Previous catering or kitchen experience is required
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliability, punctuality, and good teamwork skills
