Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Deputy Manager in Residential Childcare to join a supportive team in the Erewash River Area. If you have strong childcare experience, supervisory skills, and a passion for helping children reach their full potential, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead shifts and provide high-quality care for children and young people.

  
  

• Act as Key Worker for assigned children, supporting care plans and casework.

  
  

• Promote Trauma-Informed Care and PACE principles in your approach.

  
  

• Supervise and mentor Residential Support Workers.

  
  

• Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed.

  
  

• Support children’s development, education, and well-being.

  
  

  Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in Residential Childcare (minimum 3 years).

    
    

  • Supervisory experience (minimum 2 years).

    
    

  • Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

    
    

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
