Our daughter is a bright and bubbly young girl, who loves everyone and everything around her. She gets around in a wheelchair, where you will have to help her. She can do this herself but will get tired if done for lengthy periods of time. She can also get around on her bottom via bum shuffling (where she’s super speedy) she communicates using vocalisations, some words, gestures, simple makaton and symbols. She loves interacting with people. She wears pads so I need someone who is comfortable with pad changes. She has dysphagia needs and has most foods adapted although she loves a cake and some Pom bears and not to mention ice cream. A few of her interests are books, toys, and anything that she can do with others. She is a girl that wants to keep busy.
