We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to support our Team Leaders within the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit. At our organisation, we prioritize the well-being and safety of our patients by providing a specialized decontamination service. As a Decontamination Unit Support Supervisor, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, safe, and timely services, ensuring compliance with established protocols and standards.
Key responsibilities:
• Support Team Leaders within the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit to deliver high-quality, safe, and timely services.
• Ensure compliance with CQC, NICE, and medical device regulations, maintaining patient safety at all times.
• Assist in managing the accredited Quality System for sterilisation and decontamination processes.
• Oversee the collection, cleaning, and preparation of reusable equipment for re-issue using a barcoded tracking system.
• Contribute to services for Operating Theatres, Wards, Outpatient Clinics, Radiology, Emergency Departments, and community healthcare providers.
