Summary
Job Title:Cleaner
Start Date:ASAP
Hours of Work:20 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Morning shift: 6:00am – 8:00am
Afternoon shift: 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Work Address:Blessed Robert Sutton Catholic School Stapenhill Burton-on-Trent DE15
Hourly Rate:£12.21 per hour
Role Purpose:
To provide high-quality cleaning services across the school to ensure a safe, clean, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Cleaning classrooms, toilets, offices, and communal areas
Hoovering and mopping floors
Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
Maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic areas
Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely
Following all site-specific health and safety procedures
Reporting any issues or maintenance needs to the site supervisor
Requirements:
Experience in cleaning roles preferred but not essential
DBS required (Enhanced DBS desirable depending on school policy)
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Reliability and good timekeeping
Willingness to work split shifts
