About the Role

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

To provide a first-class service to our customers in undertaking set-up's/set-down's for events, to support with moves, including students, to understand stock control within our small, serviceable warehouse
Providing high standard of Cleaning and Portering service across campus
Manual handling of incoming and outgoing stock, picking and packaging of cages and the pushing and pulling of cages – this is a physically demanding role

About You
As Warehouse & Portering Operative, you will have:

Previous warehousing experience within Goods In, Goods Out and Stock Control environments
Understanding of COSHH, working knowledge of Health & Safety.
Previous work experience in a front-line customer service environment delivering excellent customer service, responding to customer requests and resolving issues.
Experience of working as part of a team, sharing responsibilities and working flexibly to a schedule of work.
Ability to perform DIY tasks as well as use and maintain industrial equipment e.g., vacuums, carpet cleaners etc.
Ability to work flexibly, under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Highly motivated and committed to positively engage with personal development
