£30k-£35k per annum
Monday – Friday / General Office Hours

Our client based in the Wrexham area currently have an opportunity for a WordPress Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. Due to rapid growth online, our client is on the look-out for an experienced WordPress Developer with a passion for both high-quality development and driving results to join their web team.
Performance Objectives
• Focus on the creation and delivery of word press websites.
• You will be tasked with designing and Word Press Themes to fit business specifications and should be proficient in both graphic design and have some knowledge of coding.
• Design and implement attractive and functional websites for our client’s customers.
• Responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.
• Meeting with Account Managers to discuss website design and function.
• Designing and building the website front-end.
• Creating the website architecture.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Working with WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshooting content issues.
• Conducting WordPress training with the client.
• Monitoring the performance of the live website.
Person Specification
• You should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages.
• A good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills.
• A top-class WordPress Developer that can create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client.
• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to manage time and projects.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Web Designers: 2 years-experience required.
