We are seeking an enthusiastic experienced Senior / Principal level Hydrogeologist with a background in groundwater modelling and groundwater resources (including geothermal and mine water) to support and lead the delivery of a range of environmental and water resource-based projects.

The role:
You will join our groundwater team who work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams of engineers, water resources and environmental specialists. Our team have experience in groundwater resources, supply and risk assessment, groundwater flood risk management, nature-based solutions to improve water resilience, river and habitat restoration and natural flood management projects.
This varied and exciting role will involve project leadership, governance and technical accountability/delivery for our clients across a range of sectors. You will work in a fast-paced environment, with a range of public, private and third sector clients including the Environment Agency, water companies, energy sector, lead local flood authorities, rivers and wildlife trusts.
Ideally this role will be based in our Saltaire, West Yorkshire, BD18 3LF office but we can be flexible for the right applicant.
The team member we are looking for:
You will play a key role in the growth and development of our groundwater resources and environmental capability. You will also contribute to business development activities in this sector across the wider JBA Group.
We are seeking committed and enthusiastic individuals with an interest in sustainability who can demonstrate effective communication and team working skills.
Candidates will hold a first and second degree or equivalent qualification in a geological, earth science or environmental based subject and ideally be at or working towards a professional qualification and chartership. Professional development is encouraged and will be fully supported with opportunities for progression into leadership roles.
