Summary

Are you friendly, reliable, and passionate about providing great customer service?

We are looking for a Food Service Assistant to join our dedicated catering team at Brooksby College. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, vibrant college canteen, helping to deliver a positive dining experience for our students and staff. Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will always deliver an exceptional standard of customer service and assist in the daily running of our catering provision.

Your responsibilities will include, serving customers, handling cash, and maintaining kitchen standards. You will have a good awareness of food allergens and will be required to communicate regularly with the chefs about allergens and ingredients. You will also support with internal catering, stock rotation and maintaining cleanliness, kitchen hygiene and health and safety standards across all areas.

This role is a fixed term, term time only role working 25 hours per week across 36 weeks throughout the year.
