Summary
HOSPITAL PORTER
Salary: £12.51 - £22.89 per hour
(Saturday and any day after 8PM and before 6AM £17.64 & Sunday £22.89)
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5 hours per week. Various shifts Monday to Sunday consisting of a morning (07:30 - 16:00), Day (10:30 - 19:00), afternoon (12:30 - 21:00) and evening (21:00-07:45) shift
Location: Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford, OX3 7LD
We are seeking a dynamic individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, who can effectively handle manual tasks and prioritise their work.
Responsibilities:
Patient Transfer and Escort: Moving patients using appropriate equipment and escorting patients, visitors, or staff.
Equipment and Machinery Use: Operating machinery, equipment, or materials as required, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations and procedures.
Logistics and Movement: Moving furniture and equipment within and between all parts of the hospital site.
Compliance: Following all Trust policies and procedures and aligning work with Trust Values.
