Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Experienced Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in need, within their own home. Your role will be vital in promoting their well-being, independence, and dignity.
Requirements:
*A full, clean driving licence is essential for this role*
Previous experience in care or support work (home care, hospice, assisted living, or similar).
A caring attitude with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with medication administration and basic first aid is a plus.
Relevant health and social care qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
✔ Support with meal preparation and dietary needs.
✔ Administer medication and monitor client well-being.
✔ Provide companionship and emotional support.
✔ Assist with mobility and transfers safely..
✔ Maintain accurate care records and report concerns.
✔ Engage clients in social and stimulating activities.
✔ Help maintain a clean and safe living environment.
