The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join this academy from January. The successful candidate will teach Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire students and support strong outcomes. This is a full-time position that includes planning, marking, and holding a tutor group.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach high-quality Business lessons across KS4 and KS5.
• Plan, prepare, and assess work to ensure excellent progress for all learners.
• Take responsibility for a tutor group, supporting students’ pastoral development and wellbeing.
• Contribute to a positive, aspirational learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in academy events, CPD, and extracurricular activities as required.
Person Specification
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies.
• Experience teaching at KS4 and KS5 (essential).
• A commitment to high expectations and securing the best outcomes for students.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
• A team player with a positive, solution-focused approach.
