Location: Rotherham or Sheffield (training may take place at either site)

About the Role
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be part of the Environment Agency's busy contact centre team. You'll handle a defined range of call types particularly during peak periods providing clear, accurate information to customers. This may include helping people understand relevant regulations, offering guidance on environmental processes, or taking details from those wishing to report an issue.
Key Tasks
- Managing incoming calls and providing accurate information tailored to customer needs
- Recording and gathering information to aid regulatory or reporting processes
- Sending follow-up emails to summarise discussions and share relevant resources
- Assisting customers in completing documentation or knowing compliance steps
- Completing administrative tasks to assist the wider team
