This is a great opportunity for a Machinist to join an ambitious and expanding company based in Somerset, within the Machine Shop. The company have an attractive payment structure and opportunities for internal progression are plentiful. The commpany specialise in the repair and service of equipment from many different industries, such as FM, food and agricultural.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret CAD drawings.
- Program, set and operate a range of CNC machines.
- Use measuring devices such as; Micrometers, verniers and calipers.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a Machinist.
- Experiecned in programming - offline and online.
- Ability to read engineering manuals and schematics.
- Welding experience is desirable.
