Summary
Job Title:HGV Class 1 Driver (Flatbed, MOD Clearance) – Walsall
Pay Rate:£16.00 – £17.00 per hour, weekly pay
Job Type:Temporary (with potential permanent opportunities)
Shift:Day shifts (Monday – Friday)
Location:Walsall, West Midlands
Benefits:
Weekly pay (every Wednesday)
Potential permanent position after probation
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transporting goods using a flatbed HGV Class 1 vehicle
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
Securing loads using load straps and following safety procedures
Delivering to MOD and secure sites, following delivery schedules
Skills & Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
Current CPC and Digi Tacho Card
Experience with flatbed vehicles and load strapping
MOD security clearance (or ability to obtain)
Ex-military or public service background desirable
About You:
We’re looking for a professional, reliable, and safety-conscious HGV Driver who can represent our client on MOD contracts. Previous experience in secure or military transport is an advantage.
