Introduction

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Quality Manager to lead the Quality Department, driving excellence across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) and ensuring full compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer requirements.

Key Duties
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Quality team to achieve departmental and company objectives.

  • Ensure all Quality Assurance systems comply with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer standards.

  • Maintain a safe working environment and promote Health & Safety best practices.

  • Manage and support internal and external audits, ensuring all accreditations are maintained.

  • Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and "Red Table" activities to improve performance and reduce PPM.

  • Champion Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives to eliminate waste and drive efficiency.

  • Act as the main point of contact for quality-related customer and supplier interactions.

  • Support and present during key customer business reviews.

  • Drive the development and implementation of robust quality controls and standardised operating systems.

Requirements
  • Proven experience leading a Quality function within aerospace or precision manufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO, and NADCAP standards.

  • Demonstrated auditing experience; AS9100 Lead Auditor certification preferred.

  • Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to interpret engineering drawings.

  • Skilled in problem solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement techniques.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.

  • Minimum HNC in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
