Summary

CREATIVE LEARNING DEPUTY MANAGER

HOURS: 24 hours per week

SALARY: £14.58 per hour plus excellent benefits package

At WALSINGHAM SUPPORT, were on a mission to support people with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling, independent lives. As our new Creative Learning Deputy Manager, you'll be right at the heart of that mission helping to create daily moments of joy, discovery, and connection.

What You'll Be Doing:

o Supporting the manager of the service to develop the service, promoting employment based outcomes and learning transferable independence skills that can be used to support everyday life.
o Creating rotas, completing timesheets, auditing and keeping clear finance records.
o Supervising staff and volunteers, including modelling best practice. Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external partners to make every day count.
o Celebrating key calendar events cultural occasions and awareness days that are meaningful.
o Ensuring health & safety compliance, including risk assessments and equipment checks.

Adaptable, solutions focused and able to respond to changing needs. Experience in a care/support setting or activity planning is a bonus but if you have the passion, well help you learn the rest.
