​Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias)Location: Southwark, LondonSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 (dependent on skills & experience)Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm (including part of on-call rota)About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join Equans Sustainable FM. This leading role requires strong expertise in building services maintenance, applying your trade skills to complete planned and reactive maintenance and repairs efficiently. You will work both independently and collaboratively, maintaining electrical plant and equipment and integrating closely with mechanical and fabric maintenance teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a broad range of maintenance and repair tasks on electrical systems, HVAC, and fabricationCarry out planned and reactive maintenance, including distribution board checks, emergency lighting, fire alarm and sprinkler testing, TMV testing, and shower head descalingRespond promptly to breakdowns and emergency situationsWork individually or with trade teams, ensuring effective communication across departmentsParticipate in on-call rota and undertake relevant training to qualify as an Authorised/Competent Person for electrical systemsSupervise and train maintenance assistants, trainees, and apprentices when requiredAdhere strictly to Health & Safety policies and company proceduresCandidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of engineering building services maintenance, strong electrical trade skills, and the ability to manage both planned and reactive maintenance independently.
