Morgan Hunt is working in collaboration with a highly regarded Further Education college in the heart of Birmingham. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Early Years Lecturer to join a committed team of educators.

The Role:
Our client is looking for an inspired and committed Early Years Lecturer to join our team. You will design, deliver, and assess high-quality early years educational programmes, supporting students to achieve outstanding outcomes. You will play a key role in shaping and refining our curriculum, assessment methods, and learner progression pathways, ensuring that courses meet regulatory requirements and embody best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons in Early Years theory and practice.
· Assess, monitor, and report on learners' progress; provide timely feedback.
· Develop curriculum content that is up‑to‑date with statutory frameworks (EYFS, etc.) and best pedagogical practice.
· Support learners in developing both practical skills (working with children, enabling environments, health & safety, etc.) and theoretical understanding.
· Liaise with external partners (nurseries, schools, daycare providers) for placements, observations, and collaborative learning.
· Participate in staff development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities.
· Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with FE college policies and safeguarding procedures.
· Up to date knowledge of the Ofsted and QAA for Higher Education Inspectorate process.
Education, Skills and Requirements:
· An appropriate level of qualification in Early Years
· Qualified Teaching Qualification, i.e. DTLLS, Cert. Ed/PGCE, or equivalent (or a commitment to work towards in line with contractual requirements).
· GCSE A* - C in English and Maths qualifications (Grades 9 - 4) or equivalent.
· TAQA (401 and 402) or equivalent (or a commitment to work towards in line with contractual requirements).
· Experience teaching within Further Education or similar educational settings
· Strong understanding of safeguarding and current industry practices
· Excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills
