We are seeking a Regional Maintenance Engineer to join their team covering the North of England. This is a varied and hands-on role, supporting the performance, reliability, and compliance of smart parking systems. The successful candidate will be home-based, travelling across the region to complete both planned and reactive maintenance.
Regional Maintenance Engineer Role:
As a Regional Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining a network of smart operations, signage, and smart-parking hardware. Using a blend of remote monitoring and on-site diagnostics, you'll ensure technology continues to operate efficiently, minimising downtime and maximising customer experience.
Regional Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain ANPR cameras, signage, poles, power, and related hardware.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance inspections and proactive service visits.
• Respond to reactive faults and attend breakdowns within SLA timeframes.
• Use remote platforms to identify issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and support teams to ensure service excellence.
• Maintain ISO-compliant documentation, reporting, and technical records.
• Support wider engineering projects including installations, signage, and upgrades.
What They Are Looking For:
Essential:
• Proven background in maintenance or engineering within CCTV, or smart infrastructure (or similar)
• Strong technical and diagnostic skills with ability to use remote monitoring tools.
• Understanding of Health & Safety standards (RAMS, PPE, Working at Height).
• High IT literacy (Microsoft Office; data reporting tools desirable).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North of England.
• DBS check required.
