We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to lead a vibrant street-food-inspired B&I kitchen in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Chef who thrives on delivering exceptional quality and consistency in a fast-paced corporate environment.
About the Role
As Chef Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring outstanding food standards and operational excellence. You'll lead a small team of 2, creating exciting, fresh and contemporary dishes that reflect a dynamic street-food concept.
What You'll Do
- Deliver breakfast service for up to 100 guests and lunch for approx. 70 covers daily
- Create high-quality, innovative menus that align with client expectations
- Ensure smooth kitchen operations, including hygiene, compliance, and team development
- Manage stock levels, place orders, and complete accurate stock takes
- Maintain excellent organisation across all kitchen processes
- Lead, motivate, and support your team
- Provide a free-issue Friday breakfast as part of the weekly offering
What We're Looking For
- Proven B&I Chef Manager experience key but not essential
- Strong knowledge and passion for street food and modern food trends
- A leader who is organised, consistent, and calm under pressure
- Excellent people-management skills
- Experience managing budgets, GP targets, ordering, and stock control
- A commitment to delivering top-tier food quality every day
