Summary
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in KS1.Role: Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)Hours: 15 hours per week, Term Time Only (Monday to Friday, 8.45am–11.45pm)Salary: Hay 10 (£9353 per annum)
Contract: Fixed term until 31st August 2026, subject to budget and staffing review
We are looking for an exceptional SEN Teaching Assistant who can bring energy, commitment, and warmth to our team. The successful candidate will be someone who can:
Demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, and a genuine passion for supporting children
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Adapt learning creatively to meet individual needs
Bring a positive attitude and a good sense of humour to the role
Be resourceful, flexible, and quick-thinking in a dynamic school environment
Show proven experience in supporting children with complex additional needs
Help children develop friendships and social skills through play and cooperative learning
