Summary
Please note this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for full details of responsibilities To provide care and support to children and young people who are experiencing a range of emotional difficulties. To empower children and young people to support them in their recovery journey. To work in partnership with parents/carers to implement interventions, strategies & activities to promote children and young peoples health and emotional wellbeing. To use knowledge and evidence-based practice to deliver advice and support to children, young people, parents and carers To work flexibly across the localities, offering clinic-based work and work in the community. To work flexibly to support and advocate for children and young people to access the service and wider support. To adapt to the emotional needs of children and young people to provide interventions and approaches that are embedded in recovery models of mental health. To undertake school and home observations as required. To adhere to the Trust and Local Authority safeguarding requirements, to promote the safety and welfare of children and young people.
