Summary
This is a part-time (4.5 Programmed Activities, including 0.5 SPA) post, designed to support the duties of the existing Orthodontic clinicians, based at Wexham Park Hospital, part of Frimley NHS Foundation Trust. The appointment is intended for an experienced specialist Orthodontist who will participate in the delivery of Orthodontic Services under the direct or indirect supervision of the Orthodontic Consultants. In particular, the post-holder will see patients in outpatient clinics and carry out unsupervised treatment sessions on a range of malocclusions particular to secondary care, involving fixed and removable orthodontic treatment. All the clinical duties will be performed at Wexham Park Hospital. There is no on-call commitment. The post-holder would be expected to work flexibly according to the demands of the service, e.g. to provide cover for and clinics at peripheral clinics when other staff members are on Annual Leave or Study Leave. They would also be required, occasionally, to perform duties required as a result of unforeseen circumstances, at the request of the Orthodontic Consultants.
