Summary
The post-holder will work collaboratively with other clinicians and practice staff to provide high quality general practice care to a varied patient base. They will be: Able to communicate politely and effectively with all staff Undertaking a variety of duties including on call clinics, surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork, reports and correspondence in a timely fashion The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population The provision of services commensurate with the GMS/PMS contract Effective management of long-term conditions Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance Work collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines Any queries and to discuss the job role further, please do not hesitate to contact us.
