Summary

Our client is recruiting for a Project Manager to join their well established and successful business on a full-time permanent basis, this is an excellent opportunity to join an energetic, fun and supportive team who continue to grow.

The purpose of this role is to assist in post-sale installation work, including management and guidance of engineers. Ensuring that all systems, equipment and infrastructure are installed as specified and designed on time and within budget.

As an important part of the installation and engineering team you will sometimes be customer facing so it is vital all works carried out are in a safe, professional manner and to an exceptional standard to uphold the business values and reputation.

Responsibilities:
-Ensure that Projects are installed effectively, on time and within budget
-System specifications are followed accurately, and amendments are recorded, reported, quoted for as required and accepted/declined in writing
-Ensure that system designs developed are installed and operate as specified and designed
-Ensure all paperwork is provided to the relevant people at the correct times
-All installation and commissioning processes and policies must be followed as described and specified in the company ISO9001:2015 management documentation
-Evaluate and improve the processes and policies relating to equipment and systems on offer
-Ensure all relevant NSI codes of practices and British Standards are followed and complied with
-All health and safety requirements are adhered to, and any supporting RAMS are compiled, completed, distributed and signed for as defined within the business and client’s processes
-Ensure all staff follow any site rules or processes
-Communicate with the sales and operations department immediately if they need to be informed of any issues related to the project in anyway
-Assist in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery of systems and services
-Continually communicate progress of the project to the operations department to allow them to record updates or future requirements
-Complete risk assessments, such as labour availability issues, containment issues, equipment delays, infrastructure routes and access issues
-Attend site meetings or client facing appointments as and when required
-Assisting colleagues with ‘general housekeeping’ of the office

Candidate Attributes:
-Previous project management or specialise project experience
-Strong communication
-Effective organisation, planning and problem-solving skills
-Creative and out of the box thinking
Hours: Full Time - office and field based

Salary: up to £50,000 depending on experience + excellent benefits + great working environment including a breakout room with a pool table and fully stocked fridge with drinks & snacks!
