Summary

We’re looking for a dedicated Personal Assistant to help someone live independently and confidently in their own home. Your role will include supporting daily routines, ensuring safety, and providing assistance with personal care and accessing the. Support to enable access to community activities, fostering social inclusion and wellbeing. If you’re compassionate, proactive, and ready to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you!

Duties:
• Assist with daily personal care, showering and helping where necessary
• Ensure with any mobility issues, reducing the risk of falls in wet environments and keeping essential items within reach.
• Provide support to collect medication, groceries.
• Support household tasks, such cleaning and keeping a safe environment,
• Facilitate with community access, including accompanying to GP and hospital appointments and arranging transport when needed.
• Support with social inclusion, helping to identify and access local groups and activities to prevent isolation and build confidence.
• Empathetic to our clients needs

Full Driving Licence required and access to own vehicle

Hours: 10 per week - (Flexible - no weekends)

Rate: £12.21 per hour

Desirable
• Experience in care or support roles – Familiarity with assisting individuals with mobility or personal care needs.
• Knowledge of local community resources – Ability to help connect the person with social groups and activities.
• Basic first aid or health awareness – Confidence in responding appropriately to minor health concerns or emergencies.
