We are recruiting for:

Role – Senior Nursery Practitioner

Hours – Full time - 40 hours

Salary – from £29,000 per annum.

Location - Jubilee Pavilion, Canadian Avenue, London SE6 4SW

We are looking for qualified, experienced, creative and enthusiastic Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our family, your role will include:

- Creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone to you enjoy, after all if you’re having fun so will the children!
- Engaging children in entertaining and educational play through a variety of activities.
- Supervising children at indoor and outdoor play and ensuring their safety and security.
- Supporting and assisting the Room Leader in planning and delivering our bespoke curriculum.
- Ensuring regular communication and interaction with parents to update them on their child’s progress.
- Access to a large green, natural outdoor space, to enjoy with the children and create new adventures and experiences.

Your role as a Senior Nursery Practitioner will include:

- Be a responsible member of the team working cooperatively and with flexibility.

- To ensure regular communication and interaction with parents to update them on their child’s progress.

- Supervise children at play indoor and outdoor, and at meal times to ensure safety.

- Take responsibility for the team to ensure that children’s work is displayed effectively.

- Ensure that any food served is monitored and conforms to Food Safety regulations.

- Take responsibility for a planned programme of activities for the children, following the EYFS framework.

- Responsibility for accuracy of daily registers.

- To take charge of own key worker group and inform parents and other staff of any other relevant information.

The Nursery is open 5 days a week, grated outstanding with Ofsted

Applicants will need to show they have the right to work in the United Kingdom and the successful candidate will be subject to a DBS, reference and social media checks.
