The Best Connection is recruiting Kitchen Assistants to join a Catering Company, a leading airline catering provider within the manufacturing and production industry operating next to London Gatwick Airport. Become part of the team responsible for preparing the meals enjoyed by passengers travelling across the globe!
Pay & Shifts- £12.50 per hour
- Overtime: £18.75 | Bank Holidays: £25.00
- Shift options: 06:00-15:00, 07:00-16:00, 08:00-17:00
- Rotas: 5 on / 3 off or 4 on / 2 off
- Flexibility is essential
- Long-term position with potential to go permanent

Working within a fast-paced airport kitchen, you'll contribute to the production and organisation of in-flight meals by:
- Preparing ingredients: washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing
- Assisting with basic cooking tasks and maintaining tidy work areas
- Unpacking and sorting deliveries, managing stock rotation, and checking expiry dates
- Following all hygiene guidelines and wearing the correct PPE
- Supporting the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking individuals
- Comfortable working on your feet in a busy production environment
- Able to use basic kitchen tools safely
- Capable of lifting and moving catering equipment when needed
- Team-focused with a positive attitude
- Keen to learn - no previous experience required!
