About the Role
We are seeking experienced Temporary Support Workers to provide person‑centred support in Carterton. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting residents with household routines and daily living tasks
Encouraging independence and helping build essential life skills
Supporting with activities, hobbies, and community outings
Providing assistance with medication and health needs
Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment
This flexible temporary role is ideal for those with care experience who want varied shifts to fit around other commitments.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 months’ experience in care or support work
Certificated social care training
Compassionate, flexible, and professional approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to support with personal care and medication
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
