The Opportunity
Agratas is driving the future of electrification — and we’re looking for a Battery Cell Assembly Technician to be at the heart of our pioneering R&D cell prototyping facility. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone experienced in battery assembly within dryroom environments, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-tech setting.
You will play a critical role in assembling next-generation pouch cell batteries, ensuring safety, precision, and operational excellence. If you're passionate about cutting-edge energy technology and want to be part of a growing, mission-driven team — this is your opportunity.
Key Responsibility Areas
Battery Assembly: Operate semi-automated equipment for cell assembly processes such as stamping, tab welding, electrolyte filling, pouch forming/sealing, and inline quality testing — all while prioritising safety and compliance.
Facility Operations: Collaborate with project managers to support scheduling, throughput, and resource planning across the assembly line.
Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs for traceability, assist scientists with data extraction and interpretation, and report observations clearly to cross-functional teams.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is calibrated and operational. Manage spares inventory and maintain vendor relationships to stay updated on latest tech and best practices.
