Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our finance team as a Trainee Accountant. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting career within a dynamic educational environment, working across our school and its various entities. You will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of financial operations while working towards a professional accounting qualification.

We're looking for someone who is genuinely enthusiastic about building a career in accountancy and eager to learn. You'll be naturally curious, asking questions and seeking to understand not just the 'how' but the 'why' behind financial processes. You should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, contributing ideas and supporting your colleagues in a busy team environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking with excellent attention to detail, while maintaining a practical, common-sense approach to problem-solving. You'll need to be adaptable and resilient, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professional integrity and discretion are essential given the confidential nature of financial information.

This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, inclusive of any training hours required as part of your apprenticeship.
