Pay rate: £15.93 per hour (including holiday pay)

We have a fantastic opportunity for Learner Support Assistants to support our adult learners in the Newtown and Welshpool areas. You will support and assist learners in accordance with their needs, organisational policies and procedures, and subject assessment criteria. You will establish constructive and effective working relationships with the learners, working in partnership with and under the direction of class tutors. You will implement planned learning activities and/or teaching programmes as agreed with tutors.
The Learner Support Assistant role is a diverse, hands-on role where you be working independently and also with the regional team.
You will have responsibility for (but not exhaustive to):
- Supporting and assisting learners in accordance with the learner needs and Adult Learning Wales policies and procedures
- To establish constructive and effective working relationships with learners and to interact with them according to their individual needs, and to help build their confidence and enhance self-esteem
- Supporting learners in various practical activities in accordance to course subject assessment criteria
