Summary
Sales Executive
Location: Braintree Essex
Job Type: Full Time 9am-5pm Monday-Friday – some flexibility required
Salary: £40,000 per annum + performance related bonus
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Our client who is a market leader in their field require a full time sales person. Your own transport is essential due to the remote location.
The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a results driven, self-motivated individual with demonstrated history of achievement, success, and strong work ethic. The successful candidate will be responsible for pushing new sales whilst working closely with the management team in developing the sales department and achieving targets.
What you’ll do:
· Drive new business sales, identifying and engaging prospects directly
· Qualify leads, deliver compelling presentations, and negotiate contracts to achieve revenue targets
· Research & uncover customer needs beyond existing offering to improve overall service
· Identify upsell / cross-sell opportunities with existing customers
· Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to progress opportunities through the sales funnel
· Oversee / implement marketing activities and collaborate with internal / external teams to ensure alignment on campaigns and messaging that drive demand
· Represent company at functions / events
· Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline in CRM system and produce regular performance and forecasting reports
· Uphold company policies, compliance, and health and safety standards
What we are looking for:
· Eager to Learn – this role will involve initial hands-on learning to arm you with the knowledge of the business's processes, therefore requires you to be hungry, switched-on, and ready to absorb all the training provided
· Proven track record in new business generation & lead conversion
· Strong sales methodology to support opportunity creation and decision-making
· Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
· Creative mindset to innovate service and product combinations for customer needs
· Strong organisational skills and resilience under pressure
· Strong IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM, PowerPoint)
· Ability to create engaging marketing documentation
· Full UK driving licence
· Flexibility to attend / represent company at client sites, functions, and events
