Hours: 42 hours per week, 12hr shifts, 2 on 2 off pattern consisting of days and nights.

Location: Merseyside, L19 8EG

What you'll be doing;


  • Operating TFE (Thermal Fluid Evaporator) and SRU (Solvent Recovery Unit) Plants at the Hazardous Waste facility in Garston
  • Completing shift logs, plant/utilities monitoring, electronic stock control, and conducting operational checks (tank levels, boiler checks, cooling tower checks, vent monitoring)
  • FLT (Forklift Truck) operations in and around the site for loading/off-loading vehicles
  • Tank and SRU column cleaning, chemical stock counts, drum sampling and drum bulking when required
  • Following SOPs and maintaining compliance with QHSE, EPR and COMAH Regulations, plus site area housekeeping



What we're looking for;


  • Relevant demonstrated experience on SRU (Solvent Recovery Unit) and TFE (Thermal Fluid Evaporator) systems
  • Maintenance of systems and record keeping experience
  • FLT (Forklift Truck) qualification/license (Essential)
  • NEBOSH or IOSH safety qualification
