Summary

Are you passionate about sparking curiosity in the very early stages of education?

Do you want the joy of teaching Nursery and Reception classes without the endless paperwork?

Could you bring energy, creativity, and warmth to various primary schools across the Leeds area?

If you answered YES, Randstad Education is looking for you! We are actively recruiting EYFS Supply Teachers to work with our partner primary schools throughout Leeds and the surrounding areas.

Supply teaching is the perfect solution for educators who love being in the classroom but want to reclaim their work-life balance. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to experience different school settings, or an experienced teacher stepping back from full-time responsibility, this role offers you the freedom to choose when and where you work.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging, play-based learning and supporting children as they work towards their Early Learning Goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching within Nursery and Reception classes, following the EYFS Statutory Framework.

  • Facilitate learning through play and continuous provision, both indoors and outdoors.

  • Lead Phonics sessions (experience with schemes like Little Wandle, Read Write Inc., or Jolly Phonics is highly desirable).

  • Adapt quickly to new settings, building instant rapport with young children and support staff.

  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.

What We Need From You
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Experience teaching within the EYFS phase (Nursery or Reception).

  • A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.

  • Energy, patience, and a genuine passion for early years education.

  • A fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

Why Choose Randstad Education?
  • Total Flexibility: You manage your own diary via our easy-to-use app.

  • Variety: Work in a wide range of schools, from small village primaries to large inner-city academies across Leeds.

  • Support: A dedicated team of local consultants to find the work that suits you.
