We are working with a specialist all-through SEMH provision in the LE8 area, supporting pupils aged 4-16 who experience social, emotional or behavioural challenges. The setting offers small class sizes, high staffing levels and a supportive, therapeutic approach centred around emotional regulation, relationship-building and personalised learning.
Pupils access a varied curriculum that includes academic work, outdoor learning, life skills, creative sessions and therapeutic activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to help young people grow in confidence, manage their emotions and build positive futures.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needs
- Help pupils develop emotional regulation, positive routines and coping strategies
- Support teachers in delivering a personalised, flexible curriculum
- Work closely with therapists, pastoral staff and the wider team to provide holistic support
- Build trusting relationships that help pupils engage, feel safe and succeed

- SEN / SEMH support
- Youth work, mentoring or behaviour support
- Care or residential support
- Sports coaching, outdoor activity roles or active engagement roles
