Our client, a highly respected educational institution in Kirkby, Merseyside, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time SEND Teacher to join their exceptional team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education and support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each student. You will work closely with a team of professionals, including other teachers, teaching assistants, and specialists, to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) that enable students to reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for working with SEND students and have a proven track record of success in this field. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Your ability to adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of your students will be essential in this role.

Key responsibilities:
- Assess and identify the individual learning needs of SEND students
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with other professionals
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to various learning styles
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
- Work closely with teaching assistants to ensure students receive appropriate support
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in SEND education
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and support

To be considered for this position, you must hold a valid teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) and have experience working with SEND students. A thorough understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation is essential. Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs or experience working with specific learning difficulties would be highly advantageous.
