Summary

The Post holder will be managed by the Clinical Team Leader (Operations).Clinical To provide assessments for specialist psychological interventions/individual therapy based on complex data from a variety of sources to clients of theResilience Hub. Sources of data include: observations, self-report measures,semi-structured interviews with clients, their families and other professionalsinvolved in the clients care. To be responsible for implementing a range of psychological therapeuticinterventions for individuals. Developing and refining formulations across arange of clients and psychological models To contribute to the psychological understanding of trauma in adults, and offer guidance and supervision to a range of other professionals working to improve their clients mental health and other important outcomes. To exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the entirety of yourwork within the Resilience Hub. To take an active role in the process of multi-disciplinary risk assessment,utilising clinical guidelines to support consultation and formulation processeswithin the Hub, documenting formulations and recommendations asappropriate. To support the other professionals to understand and take positive risks, aspart of an agreed plan. To report adverse incidents and ensure documentation is detailed andsupported by evidence. To provide effective and timely communication using all relevant means toensure information about clients progress and any changes to risk profile aregiven to all relevant stakeholders internal and external to the service. To formulate plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or managementof clients presenting issues, based upon an appropriate conceptual frameworkof the clients problems and support professionals in navigating mental healthsystems to facilitate access to the required services both within GreaterManchester and across the UK To exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the advice,consultation and formulation provided as a clinician within the Resilience Hub. To contribute directly and indirectly to a psychologically based framework ofunderstanding and care to the benefit of all clients of the service across allsettings and agencies serving the client group. To communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerning theassessment, formulation and treatment plans of adults under the care of the Hub and to monitor and evaluate progress during the course of multidisciplinary care. To provide expertise, advice and support to facilitate the effective andappropriate provision of psychological care to the young people, adults andprofessionals supported through the Greater Manchester Resilience Hub.
