In addition, the role supports Defra’s commitment to the transparency agenda, which requires the publication of data for senior staff in line with government standards.
We are seeking a proactive and confident Corporate Ethics Lead to oversee and drive the conflicts of interest agenda across the Defra group. This pivotal role involves managing end-to-end processes related to:
- Business Interests
- Gifts and Hospitality

- Transparency Returns
You will be responsible for assessing potential conflicts and determining whether they pose a risk to the Defra group, ensuring ethical standards are upheld across all activities.
