Summary
General Manager – Chester
Salary: £43,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
We’re looking for an inspiring and commercially-minded General Manager to lead a strong team and elevate our service to the next level at our Chester location. This is a fantastic opportunity for a personable, client-facing leader who combines operational excellence with strategic thinking and a passion for hospitality.
What you’ll do:
Oversee daily hospitality operations, ensuring exceptional service and consistent standards.
Build and develop a motivated, high-performing team, creating a culture of pride and accountability.
Lead on financial performance: forecasting, budgeting, cost control and delivering agreed targets.
Bring creative thinking to menu development, service delivery and guest experience.
Drive marketing and engagement initiatives to boost visibility and customer satisfaction.
Act as the primary point of contact for the client, maintaining a positive, professional relationship.
Continuously seek opportunities to innovate, streamline processes and enhance service quality.
What we’re looking for:
Proven management experience within hospitality or contract catering.
Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into action.
A confident, engaging communicator with excellent client-facing skills.
