Summary

Are you an experienced insurance professional looking to work with mid-market and corporate clients on complex commercial risks? This is an outstanding opportunity to join a respected team in Colchester, where you’ll manage significant accounts across diverse sectors. You’ll be working with clients whose operations involve intricate exposures such as Goods in Transit and Marine, with additional involvement in Freight Forwarders Liability and CMR. These are businesses that require tailored solutions and proactive support to navigate challenging risk landscapes.

As a Corporate Account Handler, you’ll take responsibility for the full administration of client insurance needs, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, quotations, and accurate documentation. You’ll liaise closely with Account Executives to implement strategies that protect assets and drive client confidence, while maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional service. You’ll also play a role in supporting junior colleagues and sharing your technical expertise to strengthen the team.

We’re looking for someone with solid brokerage experience and strong technical knowledge, particularly in Goods in Transit and Marine claims. Acturis experience and Cert CII would be an advantage, along with a proactive, client-focused approach and the ability to manage complex accounts with precision.

This is a hybrid role based in Colchester, offering flexibility and the chance to work on high-value, challenging accounts within a collaborative environment that values professionalism and growth.
